terrible welcome committee

I was chatting with Brandon today and have decided that Ryan and I  make a terrible welcoming committee and I’m surprised Trevor’s mom didn’t make him go back home after meeting us. Ryan claims to have made a bad impression and I am acerbic and insulted Idaho a lot. Oh, well. We’re actually really nice, I promise!

I was exhausted yesterday so I got home and laid down, then went to Farm Fresh with Amanda and Iseley to buy some foodstuffs. Bought two 2-liter Mountain Dew, lots of cereal, milk, and couldn’t find Pop Tarts, so I tried to make myself feel better with some Oreos. It worked.
Got back home and went to sleep, and pretty much stayed that way until morning.

This morning, Kat (my fellow intern) and I had a meeting with the big safety guy, Jose, who gave us more info about what they want from us. Pretty much reiteration of what I already knew, but they also suggested we update the look of the website. My area of expertise! I’m excited because their site is pretty blah.

Lunch was later than I figured (Amanda arrived at 12.30ish instead of noon) and I had to sit by myself (instead of sitting by Ryan) for a few minutes until I noticed Iseley and Trevor across the way. Had fun at lunch. Met up with Matt, whom I’d met on Facebook a few weeks ago, so I was stoked.

After lunch, some socializing (I went to see Amanda’s workplace) and chatting with mentor, then looking over the website and thinking of inspiration and ideas for my project. Now everyone else in the office has left and I’m here by myself for at least 40 more minutes.

Tonight, some people have volleyball (lol) so I’m not sure what we’ll be doing for fun or if we’ll even be doing fun things. fun.
